Your card details stay on your own device. Funeracard.app does not keep a copy of them.

Important: misuse warning

Funeracard.app exists only to help families create funeral, condolence and tribute cards. Please do not use it for fraud, deception or spreading false information.

Creating a condolence card for a person who is still alive, or using it to hurt someone's feelings, may be a punishable offence under the law. If the tool is misused, the responsibility rests entirely with the user.

1. What information we collect

We respect your privacy. Whatever you type into a card, such as names, dates, photos and messages, is never saved to our database or servers. We do not receive it and we cannot see it.

2. Where your data is kept

While you build a card, your details are held in your browser's LocalStorage, on your own phone or computer. In practice this means:

  • The data never leaves your browser.
  • Clearing your browser data also deletes your card details.
  • Our servers never access the photos or text you enter.

3. Photos and images

Photos you add are handled only on your device. All image processing takes place in your browser (client-side), so your photo is not uploaded to us.

4. Payments

Payments are handled by a secure third-party gateway such as Cashfree. Your card number, bank or UPI details go directly to the payment provider. We never see or store them.

5. Cookies

We may use basic cookies to keep the website working smoothly. These cookies do not track your personal data.
